This fictionalized narrative of true events begin when Paul embarks on a spiritual awakening. His father dies, and hours later he finds himself talking with a psychic who speaks with his father’s words. Unable to deny the evidence of his own eyes, Paul nevertheless struggles to grapple with the true meaning of past life experiences, synchronicity, astral travel, and angels and other spirits. As Paul undergoes a spiritual metamorphosis, the reader is drawn back into time to normal people living normal lives and how they cope with institutional authority and perceive herbal medicine, healing rituals, and other aspects of what we today call witchcraft. Paul slowly awakens to a new understanding of who he really is, and must confront the questions that face us all, as humanity enters a new era of spiritual awareness.
